How to use Reading Journal Printables
Option 1. Print off- for best results print professionally or on card stock paper- and fill in using coloured pens/ pencils of your choice.
I personally love to choose a colour scheme before venturing in, so set aside a few colours that go readlly well together.
Option 2. Scale down when you go to print and glue into a bullet journal or smaller notebook- this is easily done but varies from computer to computer, so a simple search will help you out here.
If you love to keep a bullet journal, this one is for you. Here are 64 reading journal page ideas that will be so perfect in a bullet journal.
Option 3. Use digitally on an ipad of tablet. These printables will automatically download as a PDF. From here they are yours to convert or to draw digitally straight onto the PDF.

I’ve been getting super into reading challenges in 2026, and I really feel like it’s allowing me to expand on what genres I already love. Although you can find more niche reading challenges on my blog, I wanted these to be a lot more broad for this reading journal printable.
That is why I stuck with genres and the a-z reading challenge. For the latter, you need to find a book that starts with each letter of the alphabet.
